A Fantastic Little Service..

Hey beauties :)!

So I was recently referred to a website when was tweeting with Nic from Pixiwoo. She recommended me the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz pencil (which I now own and love) and said you could get it at Professional Online Makeup (www.pomltd.com).

So I made an order at POM on a Wednesday. It said my things would be dispatched on Friday, estimated delivery on Monday. On Thursday I got an email saying that my package had been dispatched and then it arrived on Saturday. This is fantastic service! I didn't know if they just weren't busy at that time or what but I couldn't have been happier!

When it arrived the envelope was wrapped in bubble wrap as one would expect from such a parcel (went a bit posh there!). The items inside were put into a little plastic bag with a POM sticker with a little bit of ribbon attached like a rosette. A nice touch. It also came with a very sweet professional looking business card saying 'With compliments'. So cute!

So here are all the things I bought from POM. Two new Real Techniques brushes, and the Anastasia Brow Wiz, along with the little business card. I am thrilled with the service I have received from POM and will certainly be using this website again! Their range of brands is so extensive and I really do recommend anyone who reads this to go and check out their website (linked above). And I hope you all end up loving the site as much as I do!

Thank you POM!!

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter Review

Hello happy people :)!

Today's review is (as you can see from the title) of the much loved Revlon Colourburst Lip Butters. Personally I love these! I have 3 now and I can't wait to invest in more!

The colours I have already are 'Sorbet', 'Juicy Papaya', and 'Tutti Frutti'. In terms of lipsticks my taste is eclectic, so all these colours are some of my favourites.

At the moment I'm loving these bright colours which I think is linked to my love for summer. The consistency is creamy, with enough pigment for it to be used as a stand alone lipstick. These are a delightful little invention because they apply like a lipstick, but have a much more moisture rich formula. This means that they don't dry your lips out horrendously during an all day wear (and I hate nothing more). So this product is perfect for me and my prone-to-dryness skin!

So first is Juicy Papaya, this is such a nice peachy colour. Its very subtle on the lips, making this a perfect colour for everyday. I really like this one with my skin tone since I've started to tan a little bit now.

Next is Sorbet. Now a year ago I would never have touched a colour this bright. I didn't do statements and I didn't feel i could ever pull off a bright lip. However it's colours like this that helped to sway me, and now I'm hooked! Now I eagerly await the chance to wear a stand-out colour. This blue toned bright pink its such an amazing colour that doesn't bleed and stays put really well. It makes your teeth look whiter and can work great when you haven't put a lot of effort into your eye makeup. It's also great for going out! This is a colour I really love to the moon and back.

Last but certainly not least in my eyes isTutti Frutti, which is a bright corally orange. Personally I love coral and orange shades against my skin tone as I think it enhances my eyes and tan. so this colour is super perfect for me! It wears well and also doesn't bleed considering its brightness (because its always the bright ones that bleed!). I love this colour to go out and equally for a slightly more done up everyday look.

All in all I love these lip butters! The staying power is great, they don't dry out your lips and all the shades are really wearable and theres something for everyone in that collection! If you don't have any of these already I highly suggest you invest! They aren't a splurge being a high street product. I feel these are a great asset to my makeup collection!

Great New Find!!

Hello again friends :)

I was just reading through Beth's blog and she recently posted about a little shop called Dirty Dolly Designs. Humanly, I was curious after seeing her pictures of pieces she picked out as her favourites. So off I went first to their twitter which then lead me to their website. And this jewellery is some of the most adorable yet chic yet edgy stuff I've ever seen! And it's affordable! BONUS!!

So like Beth I picked out a few pieces that I fell in love with:
This is the first piece of their jewellery I saw when I went onto Dirty Dolly's website, and I instantly fell in love! I clicked on it straight away! This is exactly the kind of jewellery I go for! Boho chic meets modern style! and I love it soo much! I am probably going to buy this! Oh and the best bit? £9.00! Just saying..
Next is this adorable little black beaded bracelet with a brass bow on it. Now I have a bit of an obsession with bows, and I love retro style jewellery with bows on it! So this bracelet is practically made for me and I am definitely purchasing this! But this really does break the bank with a whopping £5.00! Are you in love with this site yet because I am!?!?
Lastly is this gold studded bracelet. This mix of edgy and cute is exactly the kind of style I wear day to day mixing the edgy with cute clothes to create the best mix in my eyes! This bracelet is the one thing I am missing from my studded collection and believe me it will be added very soon! And this swoops in with another £5.00 bargain!

These pieces are just perfection and the price tag is making me fall even more in love! I strongly suggest you all check out this site since I feel they have something for everyone :) Definitely one of my new favourites!

My Birthday Haul

Hello my favourite strangers!

I know I kind of went MIA for a while but the last three weeks has been a total whirlwind! I'm not even sure what I was doing for most of it!! But thats life I suppose!

Anyway so my Birthday! It was my 18th which, those of you who are British know, is a big deal here! You've reached the legal drinking age so can go out to clubs, and it's the official age of adulthood here in the UK. And my actual Birthday was amazing! I spent it with my family and closest friends and I will remember it for a very long time.

So into the haul! Me being me, most of the things I asked for were either makeup or makeup related, so I was one happy bunny!

So my main present was a new camera to help with my blog and youtube channel and I was also given a tripod to go with it.
Here you can see all the presents I got minus my camera because that's what I took the pictures on. I got a Links of London necklace and some pandora charms, along with some champagne and a glittery 18 glass to drink it from. I then also got a photo frame with a little message on it which is super cute and something I can keep for a long time.
In terms of beauty I got a few things I'd wanted and a few things I hadn't thought of but love. All lip products here are from my very good friend Beth (here's her blog). As some of you who read my Birthday Countdown may know, I had asked for Macaroon, a Topshop pinky-coral lipstick, which Beth saw on my post and bought me, along with 2 Revlon Lip Butters which we have both been raving about! She clearly payed attention to which ones I liked the best when we were looking at them all online because she got me the ones I wanted the most! She also got me the green nail varnish, as she knows I love new nail polishes and my favourite colour is green, but this is a shade I did not have. She clearly knows me very well! Thank you Beth!! The Katy Perry eyelashes by Eylur are from my mum, who knows my love for both KP and eyelashes! Plus these are exactly the kind I love! Fluttery without being like slugs on your eyes and weighing them down. So thanks Mum!! And lastly the two Topshop nail polishes are things that I bought myself with a voucher I received. These are two colours that were on my Birthday Countdown post so when I got a voucher I chose to purchase these two. Sea Mist, a silver glitter with tinges of blue in certain light, and Flamingo Coral, which is pretty self-explanitary. It's a pink colour with hints of coral, very summery!

Here are the jewellery items I got. I'm not a massive wearer of jewellery but I really love all the stuff i got here! My favourite is perhaps the Earth necklace from Topshop. Earth being my Zodiac sign, I picked this up on sale and have worn it every day since I bought it!! The Links necklace was a big present that I really wasn't expecting but I do really like it and I feel like the silver compliments my skin tone and eye/hair colour. I got creative with the Pandora charms and put the 18 one on the Links necklace since taking this photo which I am now wearing every time I do not wear gold.

All in all my Birthday was amazing, and definitely a day to remember, just the way I wanted it to be :)

Thanks for reading!! Leave me a comment if you have any of these things telling me why you like them!
